Dear Secretary,<\/p>\n

I wish to support the residents of Gordon Street in their appeal against the grant of permission by Dublin City Council for 10 residential units to the rear of their homes.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The submission by the residents and their Town Planner contain the grounds for the appeal and I have no wish to waste the time of the Board by repeating them here \u2013except to say that I support their case.
\nThis is an exceptionally narrow site traditionally not developed and buildings such as that proposed will have serious implications for the rights of existing residents of Gordon Street to enjoy the quality of life of their homes.<\/p>\n

I would be grateful to be kept informed of developments.<\/p>\n

I pioneered the 20% Social and Affordable Housing concept though the Dublin Docklands Development MasterPlan and have established a housing co-op in my own area and am a Board member of an Approved Housing Body. I was for ten years Chairperson of the South Dublin\\\/Wicklow Branch of the Irish Foster Care Association. Clubs and Committees Currently on Dublin City Council I Chair the South East Area Committee and the Housing Strategic Policy Committee. I am Board member of Donnybrook Community Employment and Sandymount Community Services, Donnybrook Community Playschool and numerous other local, community and Dublin wide organisations. I am member of the Board of Scouting Ireland, the City of Dublin Education and Training Board and the Royal Hospital Donnybrook Board.
